Net sales increased $41.7 million, or 10.9%11.2%, to $412.9 million, compared with $371.2 million in the prior-year period. Organic sales increased 6.1%6.4%, driven by higher volume in the Industrial Solutions segment and favorable pricing, while the acquisition of Meridian Controls, Inc. on July 1, 2026 contributed $16.3 million, or 4.4%. Foreign currency translation reduced net sales by $1.4 million, or 0.4%.
Gross profit as a percentage of net sales was 58.9%59.2%, compared with 58.8% in the prior-year period. The increase reflects favorable product mix and pricing actions, partially offset by higherelevated inbound freight costs and $2.1 million of inventory step-up amortization related to the Meridian acquisition.
Selling, general and administrative expenses increased $8.5 million, primarily due to the inclusion of Meridian, $1.8 million of acquisition-related transaction costs, and higher incentive compensation. As a percentage of net sales, these expenses were 21.5%, compared with 21.7% in the prior-year period.
